My Lovely Locs services are only available to clients with reservations.

Advanced Payment Required
​
To secure your appointment at My Lovely Locs, we require payment in full. This policy offers clients transparent pricing and a no-hassle checkout while eliminating the financial impact caused by missed appointments and late cancellations.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments
​
The time you schedule is reserved for your exclusive use. When appointments are missed or cancelled without sufficient notice, we are often unable to fill the vacancy, causing a substantial financial impact on our business.
​
To avoid a fee, we require at least 48 hours' notice, or 2 days' notice of cancellation. Clients who cancel less than 48 hours before their appointment will be charged a fee of 50% of their appointment cost. Clients who miss their appointment without notice will be charged a fee of up to 100%.
Should you cancel at least 48 hours or 2 days before your appointment in accordance with our cancellation policy, your payment will be refunded minus any processing fees from our payment provider. Please note that advanced services like microlocs installation require consultations in advance.
Late Arrivals

We want you to fully enjoy your time with us, so please arrive promptly for your service. Services at My Lovely Locs are designed to deliver the most benefit within the time allotted. As a courtesy to other clients, we are unable to extend service times or issue refunds.
While we make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule the appointment as we cannot compromise our appointment schedules.
No Refund for Service Sales

All service sales are final. To ensure you receive a favourable service outcome, we perform thorough consultations to allow you plenty of time to communicate your desires and expectations to us. This requires your participation and honest feedback. Should your outcome not match your expectations please contact us for help.
No Accompanying Adults or Children
​
Children without appointments are not permitted. This is to increase productivity and safety. We do not have a waiting area for any accompanying guests and only the client with an appointment will be permitted entry.

Mobile Phone Use
​
At My Lovely Locs we require that mobile phones be silenced during services. This ensures a favourable service outcome and helps to support the professional’s productivity and maintain a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Loud phone conversations are disruptive and interfere with the client’s relaxation.

Right to Refuse Service
​
My Lovely Locs reserve the right to refuse services at their discretion and will dismiss abusive and disrespectful clients when necessary.

Duty to Inform
​
At My Lovely Locs, we respect your privacy and do not need to know your medical history, however, your disclosure of any allergies, medications or conditions that may require us to modify the service would be for your benefit. My Lovely Locs will is not responsible for any reactions to services rendered in circumstances where a guest has failed to inform us of pre-existing conditions.

Scope of practice notice
​
The law prohibits salon professionals from diagnosing or treating clients with hair or scalp abnormalities of any kind. Should we determine that you are ineligible for service, we will refer you to an appropriate physician. When your condition has been resolved, you are more than welcome to return.
